Beautiful, well-appointed home nestled between a small pond and woods and adjacent to a number of farmed fields- it was perfect! The western sun was a little strong on the (huge!) deck because we had two sunny days. The views, however, were unparalleled from all angles. House was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Loved it.

The property was a peaceful, rural setting, close enough to Wellsboro, that gave everyone a chance to enjoy late summer in the endless mountains. We will be back at some point down the road, to enjoy this area again.

Three couples (one with 2 kids) spent a weekend here - and it was absolutely perfect!! Comfortable beds, well-appointed kitchen, amazing deck & grounds, and a great layout. We cannot wait to return!!

Quiet and beautiful.

We came to Pond's Edge for our annual girls' trip. This is hands down one of the best vacations we have ever had. It is seriously a piece of Heaven. The energy is relaxed and just makes you want to slow down and breathe. The accommodations are top notch and has everything you need (except firewood. More on that later). We didn't do much cooking, but the kitchen is well stocked. The master room and en suite are amazing! The downtown area of Wellsboro is a quick 10 minute drive and has several local and delicious restaurants. Many hiking trails are about a 20 minute drive away. We weren't able to locate the onsite hiking mentioned in the ad, so you may want to ask about that if interested. The only thing we were missing was firewood for the firepit, so make sure you bring that or you can pick some up from several roadside stands. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful home in a beautiful and peaceful location. Our family of 4 felt right at home the moment we walked in. The home had everything we needed for our stay and more. We would definitely return.

Amazing property…. If you want to unwind and relax this place is for you. So perfectly peaceful from the view to frogs croaking to the lightning bugs lighting up the trees like it’s Christmas. No need to travel to cherry springs the sky is big and dark right here. Fire pit looks out over the pond as the light from the fire reflects off the water. The home itself was spotless and contained everything you could want in the kitchen. Furniture was very nice and comfortable. This place could be featured in a magazine. Master bath was huge and the shower was perfect. Beds were a bit hard but that’s just me. I actually slept outside on the deck many nights just because I couldn’t tear my eyes from the stars. The deck is huge and comfortable. Plenty of room outback for corn hole while dinner cooks on the grill. Downtown is close but with great restaurants. Do yourself a favor and stay here at least once. We will be back!!

The cabin was gorgeous and large enough for my family and three kids under 2. The master bedroom is massive and beautiful. Same goes for the master bath with two separate sinks and a separated toilet. The kitchen was fully stocked and we cooked everyday three times a day with no problems. The pond is awesome. I caught a 5lbs bass my dad caught a 3lbs bass, and my niece and nephew were catching little blue gills. There was plenty of places to walk or drive for a view or a hike. The fire pit was nice that it's a little bit from the house so we didn't wake the kids and the night sky was amazing.

Other than a few small glitches our stay was wonderful. We were celebrating my birthday with our grown children at the property my parents once owned and our children loved to visit. We all want to return. The house is beautiful and the view of the mountains and pond from the amazing deck is what makes this property so special!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The house was beautiful and the outdoor area was gorgeous! We enjoyed all of the outdoor seating on the spacious deck and being outdoors was very peaceful and serene. The inside of the house was lovely! The primary suite is amazing and the kitchen is very well stocked and updated. This was one of our favorite houses and we will definitely be back again next year!

We absolutely loved our stay at Pond’s Edge! It was secluded and private with beautiful views and comfy, home feel. We chose to stay here for the weekend of our Wedding Elopement and I’m so glad this is where we ended up! It’s such a great rental and the staff of MVR is friendly and easy to communicate with! Absolutely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a private getaway!!

Wonderful spot

The setting for this lodge in Wellsboro was absolutely beautiful. The house is luxurious, warm and welcoming. Plenty of space for our group to spread out; from the huge sofa in the living room to the long dining table next to the kitchen to the multiple spaces to relax outside on the expansive deck. We had a magical weekend. The quaint downtown street in Wellsboro offers a very close option for shopping and dining. Our dinner in town at The Roost was excellent, great food, terrific service, cool decor and very affordable. The local chocolate shop was a neat treat too. We capped our weekend off with an evening by the fire pit. Perfect setting for star watching and s'more making. There are only two chairs so if you have a bigger party consider bringing along a couple of camp chairs to make it easier to sit by the fire. Our group is already talking about returning for another visit, highly recommend!

Ponds Edge Lodge is a great get away cabin. Clean and organized. As advertised. Host was responsive before and during our stay. Would recommend to others and stay again when back in the area.

Loved this location so much. The views from the deck with the mountains were so pretty. There is a grocery store and everything you need right in town. The inside of the house is so nice. The master bathroom is perfect. The PA grand canyon is very close by. Would love to come back in the future!

Ponds Edge is a beautiful property in a secluded setting. Everything about the property is first class from the unique design to the quality appointments.

My group had an amazing stay here! The views are stunning and the open concept inside made it great for a larger group. Spent a lot of time on the outside deck which has a lot of furniture . The fire pit is a bit far from the house but overall we had a great stay and would highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!

The place was beautiful and so was the surrounding. It was private, yet close to town to get all the things you might need. Loved the living, dining, kitchen space. It was a great space to hang out together. Our only concern was the water system, but I’m sure they will get that fixed.
