Highlights
This was a girls trip to kick off the holiday season visiting a Dickens of a Christmas in Wellsboro. The home was quaint, cozy and charming. Everything we needed was on the property. Would definitely stay again!!
Our trip was perfect. Fall fishing trip. Caught fish in Pine Creek and also enjoyed the fall foliage. The home was clean and as pictured. We had no problems. MVR was terrific. All the info needed was emailed and check in was smooth.
The location is very nice, quiet and secluded, and a nice backyard with big fire-pit and direct access to small creek. We have arrived pretty late, when it was dark outside, but didn't have any problems with access to the property following clear instructions we have received before. The house matches the description - with 3 bedrooms (each has a twin/queen bed), living-room, a small kitchen and a bathroom, though a little bit outdated, but cozy. It had all the essentials. The fridge was clean and worked well. One day we had a problem with power outage that affected just a part of the house. When we reported about it, we've received a prompt reply with instructions and advice what to do, which really helped to resolve the issue. The location is wonderful, about 15-20 minutes to PA Grand canyon. We really liked our stay there very much!

Great little get away. Beautiful area with big yard and river in the back. luckily it wasn't extremely hot because there is no AC. plenty of fans with lots of windows and sliding doors to let a breeze in. Over all great place and would stay again.
We loved it! Quiet area, so much wildlife, easy creek access for fishing. Nice yard and outdoor area for fire and mountain pies!
Very clean & comfortable. Enjoyed watching the wildlife from the back porch!
I brought my family of 4 here in mid-July for a fishing and outdoor adventure vacation. Everything went very smoothly and the host was quick to respond with any questions. The property is HUGE and easy access to Pine Creek for fishing. The water level is low in the summer, but we found some deeper spots downstream. You will want water shoes or waders. Lots of wildlife roaming around. The black flies and mosquitoes can get a bit aggressive around the water this time of year, so plan accordingly. The house is cozy and comfortable, we spent most of our time in the sunroom extension. Grill worked perfectly and we also used the firepit one evening. No AC, but it was comfortable even in July with just the fans going and windows open. Avg outoor temps were mid 70s during the day and 50-60 overnight. Visit Pine Creek outfitters nearby for tubing/bikes or kayaks in the spring. Easy drive to all the PA Grand Canyon trailheads, Wellsboro, and Cherry Springs Night Sky area. Amazing! We loved staying here and I’m already trying to convince my fishing buddies come back in the spring when water is high and trout are in season.
We took our mother for her 80th birthday! This is a very clean, cozy cottage set on a beautiful piece of land! We enjoyed the fire and sitting on the back porch! We saw a momma deer with a fawn and an eagle!
It was a great location for fishing and out was out of the way of other homes/cabins. It felt very secluded.
This property is ideally located right on Pine Creek. Wildlife viewing and fishing right outside the back door. Also convenient to the bike trail and state parks. We hope to return.
Loved Everything about the property. It was what we were looking for and 100% as advertised
Peaceful setting, we enjoyed watching the deer in the front yard. The house was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. Conveniently close enough to the rail trail. Overall a very enjoyable stay! Thank you.
The backyard is a beautiful escape from reality. We all enjoyed our stay.
Our stay was fabulous. We loved the house and the easy access to fishing. Deer came to visit every day. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch or in the sunroom. We will definitely stay again.
Great indoor, outdoor living. Large private grounds with lots of charm.
