The property was absolutely perfect for my family of 4, 2 grandparents, and our dog. It was very clean with so many perfect amenities for a home away from home. The decor is so comfortable and the house has an open floor plan with a long dining room table that is perfect for catching up with family and having game nights! We loved the hot tub and outdoor space also! It is truly a hidden gem!

My family & I celebrated New Year’s Eve here and we had a lovely stay! The home is peaceful & beautiful while still being close to downtown Wellsboro. The inside is spacious and comfy - we especially loved the large kitchen table, plethora of seating options in the living room, & comfy beds. The hot tub was AMAZING! Best feature for sure. Appreciated the fast & clear communication with the host. The only negatives would be dim lighting in 2 bedrooms & living room, no toiletries, & potential of needing 4WD to access the home if snowing heavily. I would stay here again and would recommend to others looking for a relaxing cabin trip.

Wonderful country location and very convenient to the Wellsboro Dickens Christmas. The hot tub was a welcome addition along with the decorated Christmas tree. Kitchen was adequately stocked of necessities and bedrooms were spacious along with comfortable beds. MVR vacation rental staff was very easy to work with and was always available to answer questions prior to our arrival. We would definitely rebook this the next time we visit Wellsboro.

What a great little place to spend time with friends, wander around the cute town of Wellsboro, and enjoy a hike at the PA Grand Canyon! The house was clean and exactly as expected. The hot tub was the highlight for us, but we also thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit! We hope to be back some day!

This is the second year we've (5 adults) stayed at this home, and we love it. The location is surrounded by beautiful woods, with a great fire ring and even bar for outdoor use. It's also 15-30 minutes away from everything we want to do in this area- hikes, shopping, restaurants, etc.

Lovely rental, tucked away in the woods, but not far from a variety of activities! Well equipped was surprised to even see an airfryer! Place was clean with and added touch of decorative folded towels. The beds are some of the most comfortable we've encountered on our outings! Hot tub, fire pit and grill were also very nice. The only thing we would suggest would be a bigger shower in master bedroom! Great place for couples and families! Thanks for a great stay!

We had a relaxing stay for our annual getaway weekend to Wellsboro!

This Airbnb was a great location. Close to Wellsboro, Morris and other places we wanted to visit. Most of the restaurants in Wellsboro are dog friendly, which was a plus. The grounds at the Airbnb are beautiful and very peaceful. The addition of the hot tub was great after a long day of walking and sightseeing. The only thing I would add at the Airbnb, would be fans to the bedrooms without A/C or add window units to those rooms if possible ( there was only one tower fan). Also add a coffe table or some ottomans to the living room. The beds were comfortable however, the one green bed is very creaky. It would creak very time my son would change position, which woke him up frequently. I am a light sleeper, and I could hear it creaking in the middle of the night as well. I would also add a door or curtain to the master bathroom as well as a different shower head in the master bathroom (The one it the shower was so big and it made the water stream very weak). Overall a great place.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hidden Haven! Check in was fast: just punched in the code. The property was very secluded, just what we were looking for. We loved the house itself, very comfortable and spacious, with fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and choices of 2 baths (always important). Beautiful wooden ceiling in living. We brought our own towels, but we didn’t have to: there were plenty of clean supplies. The house was cool when we got there, but we only ran the AC in the bedroom, the wooden area around the house made it quite cool. The outdoor space was very nice, we grilled every day and made campfire, also enjoyed the modern hot tub! Too bad we caught one rainy day, but the rest were beautiful, and we got to enjoy the Grand Canyon, only 20-25 min away; the town is even closer, about 15 min. We would definitely recommend the place if you were looking for a quiet getaway!

This was the third time my family rented an Airbnb in the Wellsboro area but by far the best. What we liked the best was the beautiful condition of the cabin. Everything looked brand new inside and I could even smell the scent of fresh paint. You could tell the host put a lot of work into Hidden Haven! One thing really stood out to me- the mattresses! I have never slept better than on those "soft as air" mattresses! Another great thing about Hidden Haven is that it's very close to Wellsboro and to trailheads if you like biking on the awesome Rails-to-Trails. There's a little sign on the living room wall: "Life is better on the Ding Dang." Those words were very true!

Hidden Haven was a perfect spot for my families Wellsboro trip. The house is in a perfect location to get to all the State Parks, Wellsboro and Mansfield. The house is very clean and peaceful. The outdoor area was just perfect. We will definitely be back.

The property is a short drive to everything we wanted to do and see: Hill Creek and Hammond Lakes, Wellsboro, the Grand Canyon, Pine Creek Rails to Trails, Mansfield for mini golf. The weather was beautiful, 10 degrees cooler than home. The home had a fire pit and beautiful outdoor space. Stocked kitchen. Too cloudy for Cherry Springs but next time! Thank you!

We spent two weeks in this home. Beautiful outdoor space and house is very clean and has all you need. It was a great place to relax and get away from everything. We saw deer almost everyday!

The home was spotless and comfortable! We loved spending time around the outside fire pit! The home was in a perfect location private but yet only about a ten minute drive to the town of Wellsboro. Communication was very responsive someone in our party arrived early and I messaged to see we could possibly enter the home early and received a positive response within minutes! We will definitely rent this home again when we are in the area!

Hidden Haven on the Ding Dang is more than to be expected. It is a hidden gem and the pictures do not do it justice. The yard is huge, and the garden is gorgeous. The house is large and I could get my rollator around it just fine. We enjoyed the serenity and can't wait to come back.

Finding the property was easy using Waze. Check in info was given with plenty of advance notice, and the information was easily understood. One of the 2 outside stairs to the main entrance was a bit higher than standard with no handrail, making it a bit of a challenge for my mother of 88 years, but the kitchen entrance was much easier. The barbecue area in the back was stellar, and despite the less than perfect weather, the roof overhead made the area a pleasure to use. The house is very clean and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. And if you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is the place!

Spacious home, comfortable living room, well-appointed, beautiful setting. The drives to the town of Wellsboro and to the PA Grand Canyon were very doable. We had dinner at Timeless Destination in town, seated at an outdoor table because of our dog. The food and service were great, people in town were very friendly and stopped to chat and pet our dog. We really enjoyed our stay.

The home is in a beautiful setting, was fully stocked with everything we need! My daughter did complain about the firmness in first bedroom, and there was a lack of outside trash cans. Other than that we had a blast playing games, sitting by the fire outside, cooking, eating and exploring the area!!

We had a wonderful time here at the Ding Dang! The location was perfect, private and spacious but still within driving distance to town. We had everything we needed and more. Also, this is a big deal to me, but the amount of towels and washcloths they had readily available was a huge plus! My toddler loved playing around the property, which was meticulously maintained. We would definitely stay here again!

Our family went to check out colleges and found this hidden gem! It was quiet & beautiful. A full stocked kitchen. You could even make pizza since they had the stone and paddle. Tons of towels, detergent, tissues, paper towels, garbage bags, seasonings, etc. We spoke with Meghan because the door was locked on the bottom for entry. She was super helpful and polite! We would LOVE to stay there again. Plus 2 of our kids think they found they're DREAM colleges!

It is clean and well stocked with amenities. Overall, it’s a great place to stay if you would like to visit the town of Wellsboro or explore the State Parks & nature trails in the area.

Feels remote but yet close to everything

This place was very comfortable and well stocked. Anything we needed for cooking we were able to find easily, an incredibly well stocked and organized kitchen. The outdoor space was charming and fictional. It made for a very relaxed and delightful stay.

MVR did a wonderful job with communicating and setting up the rental. Very quiet and peaceful spot.

We had a fantastic stay. The house is situated in a very private sport with exception of one neighbor behind, who we neither saw or heard, and soon forgot about. It was spotless and the kitchen was equipped with cookie sheets, grater, mixer, can opener, and pans in all shapes and sizes. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the beds and linens were comfortable. I thought the lack of a door on the master bath, as noted by another, might be a problem but it really wasn't. The fire pot area was spectacular and where we spent the most time. The weather was not the best, so we weren't able to use the yard games or basketball hoop. If you're on the fence, don't hesitate. We all loved this property and would definitely stay again.

The property is very clean, comfy beds, nice linens & well stocked kitchen. Management was quick to respond when the heat did not go on. The only negative worth a mention is the very small capacity washer & dryer in the bathroom. It's a nicely maintained property & we enjoyed our stay very much.

Our stay was excellent. The backyard is so relaxing and my son had a blast on the tree swing! We had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

Overall the house was clean and the floor plan was perfect for our family of 4. All the appliances, kitchenware, etc.. we’re fine and sufficient for our stay. The outdoor space was very nice and mostly private. There were other buildings on the property that were in use, so at times we did not have the full privacy we expected. The curtains in the master bedroom were essentially see through which compounded the perceived lack of privacy. Inside we also found that many of the cabinets and drawers did not always close properly and in the master bedroom, there was no separate door between the bedroom and the bathroom. Overall we enjoyed the trip and the space, but would recommend a few simple improvements on the interior.
