This was such a charming house. We loved sitting on the front porch and looking at the lake. We would definitely stay here again.

We picked this location based on its proximity to the star gazing area. Happy with that location, approximately 20 minutes away.

MVR had a cute home with lovely cozy decor. It was a rustic feeling home that was well maintained and very clean. The home itself has warm welcoming vibes with a great view and huge porch. MVR was a great communicator and was a great host. We had a great stay!

Beautiful house and location! Very close to stores and restaurants, and an easy 20 min drive to Cherry Springs for star gazing. Everything was perfect for our short stay!

We are a close knit group of 3 couples and 1 single friend. We love traveling together. Finding the perfect place to stay in the perfect location can be challenging. The home in Galeton was perfect in every way. We had enough room in the house so that we did not feel like we were in each other's way. The kitchen was clean and stocked with dishes, utensils and cooking supplies, paper towels and dish towels. The 2 bathrooms were very clean and supplied with towels and linens. The location was perfect for going to Cherry Springs, the PA Grand Canyon and Wellsboro. The close proximity to the grocery store was a blessing when we realized we forgot some key ingredients for dinner. Now, let's talk about the beds. We slept in 4 of the beds. We all agreed that the beds were surprisingly very comfortable. It is clear that these are not cheap mattresses. I would have considered taking mine (1st floor bedroom) home with me but just couldn't come up with a plausible story to tell the police. 😀

A very homey, clean and tidy space to stay in “God’s Country”.

Great house, lovely deck, quiet street, good price/quality ratio. Well equipped and clean kitchen, bathrooms were a bit on the small side - but manageable for a family with three small kids. Dining table good for 6p, but can’t fit larger families (cfr. the amount of bedrooms). Somewhat darker living rooms, but we were out most of the time. Would come again!

We stayed at Galeton Overlook for the first time and found it to be very relaxing. The property was maintained and clean. We really enjoyed sitting out on the covered front porch. It rained fairly hard, but the porch stayed dry. Management personnel were very responsive to questions we had and thoroughly communicated with us. We found the kitchen well-equipped, the beds comfortable, and whole home inviting. The only cons to Galeton Overlook is the only AC is a window unit located on the staircase and the downstairs bathroom is very, very small and not handicapped accessible even though the shower is. As far as the AC is concerned, the home did cool down by our 2nd day there with the AC on high and the bedroom and dining ceiling fans running. There needs to be a fan in the living room as well to help with the cooling. We unfortunately couldn't open the windows due to high humidity and smoke from the Canadian Wildfires. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and hope to return!

Very clean, convenient location to multiple recreation options. Strong Wi-Fi was much appreciated by my wife who spent one day of the stay working.

This house in Galeton, PA with MVR Vacation Rentals was perfect! More than enough space for us to spend the week. The house has a beautiful front porch with amazing views. The kitchen came with more accessories than expected like an air fryer and built-in water filter. We would definitely stay here again.

The house is in town but is situated in a place that is very quiet and private. The off street parking is very convenient and made for a very easy transition taking our things we needed into the house. The house has 2 full bathrooms which is nice for a larger party size and has a washer and drier that is very nice if those things are needed. Highly recommend staying with this Air BNB.

We were a group of four adults and one kid. This is a great place to stay with family and friends. The place has four clean bedrooms, two clean bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen, a six seater dining table and a big living room. The host was easy to communicate with and answered all our queries within an hour. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
