This cabin was awesome! Main reason is location. Many cabins are too close to highway for good nights rest. We have stayed in some with no rest that night. This was best nights of sleep in Tioga ever. Thank you. We will return!

We had a wonderful 3 day vacation. The house is clean, spacious but cozy and has a wonderful outdoor area including a spot for a campfire which we took advantage of on one of our nights. The house is close to the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania and the Pine Creek Rail Trail, a wonderful and scenic place to ride. We do plan to return!

Quiet location in the PA Grand Canyon, unfortunately we had a rainy weekend but the house was very comfortable to hang out inside while raining. FYI, not many kitchen provisions like sugar, salt, pepper, etc. so bring some with you.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cabin on the Flats. The beds were very comfortable, the cabin was very clean, the setting was beautiful and private. We will definitely return!

Superior cleanliness, well appointed, serenely situated, enveloped in wildlife, close to Wellsboro and Tyoga Golf course and topped with an incredibly friendly and helpful staff at MVR.

We all thought the rental property was great. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and around the fire pit. The only major problem we encountered was the lack of kitchen supplies (utensils and ovenware). Also, there was only a Keurig and not a regular coffeepot. We had to go out and buy one.

Cabin was as described or better. Secluded location is great and the stars in the night sky look as nice as you would see at the Cherry Springs viewing area. Enjoyed our stay very much, being closer to the Susquehannock atv trails would have been a plus but we knew going in it was about 20min away...overall great stay!

The cabin was perfect, even better than the pictures. It was very clean and they even folded the towels into decorations, such a cute touch! The beds and bedding were very comfy which was much appreciated. The cabin was perfectly located between PA Grand Canyon and the dark skies area of Cherry Springs which were the attractions we were in the area for. We had a great time and would recommend this place to anyone!

We had a very nice stay - beautiful cabin and as advertised, it was on the atv connector trail. We had easy access to several trails which is what we were there to do. The cabin was a great place to relax after a day of riding. And the beds were very comfortable!

Cabin On the Flats is a lovely place! The grounds and landscaping are attractive. The front deck is well furnished. The interior is fresh and clean beyond expectations. While the maximum number of "residents" is limited to six, four adults is the sweet spot. Enjoy!

Stayed the weekend to celebrate Father’s Day, space was perfect for our family. Loved the open kitchen/dinning room and the spacious deck. We would definitely stay there again! This cabin was very cozy and out of the way. The cabin and grounds were up to date and clean. It did rain throughout the weekend but the inside space was big enough for 4 adults to have plenty of space. Kitchen has all the basics, plenty of plates, cups, etc but a little light on bakeware. Great location for fishing, hiking, and relaxing.

Great host and beautiful cabin. Everything exceeded our expectations. The area is very charming and the neighbors down the road graced us with old stories of the area. We took in amazing views of the night sky and loved coming in to the warm fireplace. The cabin was extremely clean and well stocked. We can’t wait to return in the summer to see the Elk and views of the Milky Way.

Had a fun weekend at this wonderful cabin. When we pulled up(my husband, brother and sister in law),we saw Christmas lights through the window. To our excitement an adorable Christmas tree was in the corner. Boy, did that help make it so cozy with the fireplace. We visited Wellsboro Dickens Christmas and walked the Colton point rim.Even though the weather wasn't the best this cabin was so comfortable to come home to. Very clean, beds comfy. Would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone coming to this area. Thanks for sharing this cabin.

This little cabin was perfect for our quick getaway. The pictures make it look bigger than it is, but the cabin isn't small. It's cozy! The three bedrooms were nice, the beds were comfortable. The house was well stocked with essentials and paper products. The cabin was clean and well maintained. The property was easy to find and not too secluded. There are a few other cabins rather close by, but we didn't mind that at all. The outdoor fire pit was great! Be sure to bring some wood to burn. The only minor things to mention as "cons" were: the furnace and refrigerator seemed kind of loud at times and the water smelled slightly of sulfur when first turning on the tap. Neither of these things took away from our experience at all. My mom loved the cabin so much, she wants to build one like it for herself!

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Regarding the comment about the lack of a handicap rail, we - an 84 year old male and an 82 year old cane using female - had no difficulty with the steps to the deck and front door. Another rail would definitely detract from the rustic nature of the cabin and is certainly, in our opinion, not necessary. Also, we found the heater normal in the noise category and were appreciative for the heat.

Beautiful Place. Modern, Clean, Comfortable, Strong WiFi. Very quiet, could see the Milky Way by just looking up sitting by the fire pit. Deer roam thru the yard. Just a nice setting to unwind Excellent communication by MVR. Great area, few nearby cabins, but you never noticed them as the woods give everyone seclusion and the grounds the home sits on is huge.

Enjoyed a quiet weekend at the cabin.

This is a rare vacation rental that is remotely located and beautifully surrounded by green grass and nearby forest. The biggest value for me is enjoying quiet moment on the deck while sipping coffee in the morning, and the second greatest is the BBQ grill. House is nicely decorated and all the rooms are designed to be enjoyed for a family stay. Only caveat is there should be more coffee amenities and there was a loud noise of lawn mower on the first day. But other than that this house is perfect for family vacation!

Great place to stay for the night sky and quality hiking nearby. The host were accommodating and responsive. The check out felt a little extensive, and the cabin was under supplied with cleaning products which inconvenienced the check out process. Overall, great stay and would stay again!

All the little kitchen touches you could want, a great outdoor grill and fire pit to enjoy the cool mountain nights and a close proximity to all the adventures and small towns of the PA Wilds. This place was really nice. It's beautiful on the inside. They keep it immaculate but it's still homey. The outside is good too. We saw several deer and I finally for to see a woodpecker after years of trying. It is a little close to a nearby cabin and we had unwelcome neighbors during our stay. However we enjoyed our time together as a family by the fire. We also made heavy use of the gas grill. All in all, we had a good time.

My spouse, best friends and I absolutely loved this secluded home away from home! Enveloped by nature at its best, we went back in time 40+ years when we first camped. Reminiscing around the campfire...priceless! The cabin was well furnished inside and out. Our only suggestion- since 2 of us are in our 60s and 2 in our 70s- is a handrail at the side entracne. Teh 4 of us were navigating through knee, back and Achilles tendon pain. Kudos to the ease of rebooking twice because of sudden medical issues. Thank you for a great vacation!

Our stay was great. MVR was very quick to provide us all the info we needed for our trip and answer all our questions before and during the trip. The house we rented was very clean and provided everything we needed to be comfortable. I've stayed in other Airbnb's where things like hands soap and towels were not provided (small things you may not think about), but MVR had us all covered. I would recommend renting from MVR to anyone looking for a nice getaway. It was an all-around great experience and we will definitely look to rent from MVR again. Perfect getaway for the two of us but plenty of space for others to join in the fun.  We enjoyed the peace and quiet with late mornings followed by midday hiking in Grand Canyon! Wonderful photo opportunities at sunset.  In the evenings you can enjoy a nice dinner in front of the fireplace.   We spent an evening completing a Gingerbread House.
Can’t wait to visit again and try Dickens Days.

The house and property are well-maintained and a lovely space for a getaway to recharge! The house is nicely updated and has ample room for four visitors. Town within driving distance, hiking trails, and nearby views of the canyon.

The cabin in the flats was a cozy wonderful retreat after a long day of biking. We really enjoyed the fireplace and fire pit. The area was so quiet and we enjoyed seeing wildlife especially Deer daily and turkey. Dark and clear skies enabled us to see the Milky Way on our first night. It was amazing and gorgeous! This cabin is perfect. It looks exactly as pictured, and is extremely clean. There are no signs at all of prior guests other than a guestbook in which visitors share their favorite experiences in the area. Between that and the binder of activities left by the host, you will have so much to do!

As for the house, beds are comfy and the rooms are a nice size, all neatly decorated. The big deck, the yard with fire pit, the dark skies for stargazing, and the visiting deer will make you feel like you don’t even have to leave the cabin! But you should- the whole area is beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

We initially booked the cabin as a kayaking trip, but Pine Creek was too low. We had a short stay but hiking was close. Lounging around the creek, fishing and hanging out with friends was made even more enjoyable by this great cabin and property. The amenities were great and we really enjoy hanging out by the fire pit. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

My husband and I took our parents to Potter County as a weekend getaway/Christmas gift. It was a wonderful weekend. The house was very clean, cozy, updated and perfect! We brought ATV’s as the cabin is located right on a trail which was perfect. We had a wonderful get away, eating dinner on the deck and sitting by the fire at night. We will definitely be back. The cabin was very clean and private. It was exactly what were were hoping for! Watkins Glen wasn't too far away and is a really neat place to visit. We also had lunch on Seneca Lake which is beautiful. There was an ice mine close by that was really interesting too. This was the perfect mountain getaway for us and our kids!

This is a great place to stay. We were in the area for a wedding and chose to rent this cabin rather than stay in a hotel. It's a cozy "home base" for activities in the region or if you just want a weekend away. Nice kitchen and deck. We grilled one night. The living room is comfortable and it was nice having 2 full bathrooms. We went to Colton and Leonard Harrison State Parks, Cherry Springs, Wellsboro, and took a covered wagon ride into the canyon during our stay.

I recommend this cabin to anyone visiting this region of PA.

Relaxing weekend in beautiful Redford, PA. Great cabin and location.

Cabin on the flats was a perfect spot for what we were looking for: a comfortable place for relaxation but also close to hiking and town. It was very clean and had both cabin charm with modern amenities. We loved having the Bee Tree Ski trail right out the front door and enjoyed watching a fox pass by each day. The gas fireplace was wonderful during the unexpected April snows. Check in and out was easy and the host was responsive. Wifi was robust and there is a landline for emergencies

We had such a wonderful time at Cabin in the Flats! I highly recommend this stay! The cabin was beautiful and the area around had so much to offer! The mountain views were breathtaking but nothing compared to the stars at night!!

If you’re looking for a quaint getaway with beautiful views, look no further. Clear and fast communication made the whole process smooth. The cabin itself is adorable, perfectly sized and decorated, clean, and comfortable. 10/10 would absolutely stay here again. Loved everything about this place!! A few pointers: the coffee machine is a keurig so bring pods or your own drip coffee maker if that’s your preference. Bring your own shower soap, shampoo, etc. It does say this in the notes but I missed it originally. My friend has a chevy equinox and I have a vw tiguan - both our cars had no problem at all getting to the cabin (the road was damp but not icy). Overall wonderful trip, can’t wait to come back!

This cabin was warm, cozy, and inviting. I have to admit the Cabin on the Flats actually looks better in person; this place is absolutely gorgeous. Coming off the heels of the holiday season, there was a Christmas tree set up in the cabin. It was a pleasant surprise and provided further ambiance to the private spot nestled in the woods. The cabin was spotless and the the surroundings were serene. This is a great place to disconnect from the every day hustle and bustle and reconnect with yourself, family and/or friends. We LOVED our stay! The house was beautifully updated and located in a very quiet neighborhood. The beds were very comfortable and the towels were fluffy. It was easy and comfortable to stay here.

The cabin is in excellent condition with lots of windows for sunlight and views of the surrounding woodlands. Had 6 guests and there was plenty of room in the open kitchen/family area that connects with a large outdoor deck. Interior design and furnishings add to the mountain living experience. Although there are some other cabins visible in the distance, the property felt very private and secluded. Saw many deer, a black squirrel and a fox on the property, and a bear on our way to Cherry Springs. I plan on going back soon, had a great time.

Absolutely wonderful. Great location and very clean. So peaceful and quite. Exactly what was needed to unwind and disconnect. Bonus when mamma dear and her fawns were in the yard everyday. I would highly suggest this cabin!

This charming, well-appointed cabin is tucked away in the woods. It has been recently renovated and is in immaculate condition. There are nice touches such as a gas fireplace, books about the area, and board games.

The location feels remote while being relatively close to Wellsboro and the Pine Creek Gorge. Access to trails is a 10-15 drive away. The Bee Tree Ski Connector Trail is a couple hundred feet away, but in the warmer months it is overgrown.

Communication with the host was excellent.

We highly recommend this place for a quiet retreat in striking distance of all the Pine Creek Gorge and Wellsboro area have to offer.

First, this cabin is in top notch condition and was super clean! Everything you need is there, including great wifi! Location is perfect, it's got a huge property with a few neighbors, but they are still a pretty good distance away, giving you privacy. Everything in the area is just a short drive away, Wellsboro, the PA Grand Canyon, stargazing at Cherry Springs State Park, bike and tube rentals, even the Corning Glass Museum isn't too far! We will be back, thanks!

Nice, very clean cabin. There are friendly neighbors nearby. Very close to Pine creek outfitters and the drop-off is about a half mile from the cabin. The starting area of bee trail is not kept up (i.e., high grass). If you decide to go through that trail, wear long pants and durable shoes.

What an amazing experience. Above and beyond everything i expected. The Cabin on the flats was amazing. Very clean and user friendly!!! We enjoyed the campfires in the evening as well as the deck!! Felt like home sitting at the dining room table eating dinner. It was easy to find but off the beaten path and the wildlife was amazing. We saw numerous deer, numerous days and had a black bear hanging out! We will be back for sure and cant wait until next summer!! You guys rock, keep up the good work!!

My family really enjoyed staying in this great little cabin. Beds are very comfortable, fully equipped kitchen, nice deck with gas grill and comfy patio furniture, and fire ring to spend evenings. Location is very quiet, close to rafting, few restaurants, canyon, and multiple hiking trails. Highly recommend this place, especially of you tired of a busy city life and need a break.

This was just what we were looking for. Beautiful surroundings and house, very clean, quiet and secluded. It was raining so we did not get to enjoy the gorgeous deck but we see several deer from inside. Definitely recommend this place. The management company was very nice and friendly.

Wonderful place to stay to get away from it all!!

We enjoyed the cabin! It looks very recently renovated and has modern amenities. It is secluded and in a quiet spot, and in our 2 night stay with saw a few different groups of deer and a fox. But it was still very close to pine creek outfitters (we had a great time biking the pine creek rail trail) and about a 20 minute driver to the downtime Wellsboro.

Cabin on the Flats did not disappoint. Our family had a wonderful 3 days biking on the Pine Creek rail trail, hiking in Pine Creek State Park, and swimming at Rattlesnake Rock. The cabin was really comfortable and clean. We especially enjoyed the large open yard space for outdoor games and the fire pit. Also enjoyed exploring the town of Wellsboro, and would recommend eating at the Red Skillet for lunch or dinner. After a long and difficult year, this little getaway was just what our family needed. We only scratched the surface of what the PA Grand Canyon has to offer, and we hope to do it again and explore some more. Highly recommend!

Great little vacation cabin, no complaints.

Cabin was very clean and very secluded. Got to see some wildlife while sitting around a campfire. Would definitely stay here again.

The cabin provided very enjoyable lodging for our group of three couples.  The beds were very comfortable.  The cabin was well-appointed and attractive.  The location turned out to be great for us because it was very close to Pine Creek Outfitters which we used for biking shuttle and kayak rentals.  We would definitely return in the future and highly recommend it.

This cabin is a top notch stay! The inside is modern and is air conditioned.  The water is good, the beds are good, the TV and internet are good.  The cabin is about 25-30 minutes from Cherry Springs State Park where we went to view the night stars.  The stars can be seen from the cabin as well, but not as bright.  My family really enjoyed our stay, and we will consider it again in the future!

Very nice cabin lots of places to fish and catch fish.  Plenty of areas to ride ATV's from the cabin, the locals are very nice.  My family and I are planning another trip back to this cabin.  I give it 5 stars.
