Mark your calendars for August 15-17, 2024 – it’s time for the annual Tioga Old Home Days celebration! This cherished community event has been bringing the residents of Tioga, Pennsylvania together for generations, and this year promises to be better than ever.

The three-day festival kicks off on Thursday, August 15th with a jam-packed schedule of family-friendly activities. Cool off with a free swim at the Tioga Pool from 12-5pm, then head over to the Fairgrounds Pavilion to sign up for the 3-on-3 basketball tournament starting at 6pm. At 5:30pm, kids can decorate their bikes and join the Bicycle Parade down Main Street, sponsored by Penny’s Daycare. Later, try your hand at Purse/Cash Bingo starting at 6pm, or catch the outdoor wrestling “Battle in the Boro” event. Don’t miss the opening of the Firemen’s Beer Tent at 6pm as well!

Friday, August 16th is filled with even more fun. The day starts with a Kids Fun Run at 6pm, followed by Corn Hole tournaments, inflatables, axe throwing, and a mechanical bull at the Fairgrounds from 6-9pm. Enjoy some free Pickle Ball lessons on the court next to the pool, then head to the Fairgrounds Pavilion for live music from 7-11pm featuring Harold Benjamin and the Country Boys.

The celebration culminates on Saturday, August 17th, kicking off with a 5K race at 9am. After working up an appetite, enjoy a delicious Chicken BBQ on Main Street at 11am. Test your Pickle Ball skills in the tournament at 11am, then compete in Corn Hole Doubles at the Tioga Fire Hall starting at 12pm. Other highlights include a Farmers Market, Classic Car Show, River Duck Race, and the always-anticipated Main Street Parade at 5pm. The night will come to a grand finale with a fireworks display after the live auction at the Fairgrounds.

With something for everyone, Tioga Old Home Days is the perfect way to celebrate small-town community spirit. Come experience the warmth and charm of this beloved annual tradition – we’ll see you there!
