Great Backyard Bird Counting Walk
Written by: Emily Shaffer on Wednesday, February 8th, 2023
Sinnemahoning State Park welcomes you with members of the local bird club for the Annual Global Bird Count in February to help scientists better understand and protect birds around the world! While exploring the woodlands, meadow, and wetlands of the First Fork Valley you can hike 2-3 miles over mostly level terrain to identify and count the local wildlife, and snowshoes will be provided if needed! No matter your experience level, you are welcome to participate, with no pre-registration required! For more information, check out Visit Potter-Tioga.
Don’t forget to check our nearby rentals for somewhere to stay, and even another place to observe!
