Beautiful Property.
This house was very clean, beds were comfy and the propane stove made the home super cozy. The neighborhood was quiet, and had some back roads to walk and stretch your legs with minimal to no traffic. The host was responsive and the advertised accomadations and amenities were accurate. We rented bikes at local Pine Creek Outfitters and enjoyed exploring The Pine Creek Trail at the bottom of the Grand Canyon of PA. The fall foliage and weather were spectacular! I would definitely recommend MVR Vacation Rentals and this home in Wellsboro.

Very clean, quiet, and comfortable place to stay.
Really well appointed for entertaining and a beautiful lot. A little disappointed there was not a fireplace but we did enjoy the fire pit on a nice evening. Very well maintained with every conceivable cooking and serving utensils. Dresser in the master was hard to operate, very sticky so hard to use the drawers and the living room furniture was not that comfortable-though attractive-very spread out and no end tables.
Beautiful place to stay
Cute cabin, well appointed of rustic and modern feel. Clean. Plenty of blankets. Had everything you need to make your stay comfortable. One of the better beds i stayed in while traveling, very comfortable. Conveniently located to old antlers, log cabin and baxters for meals. Easy drive to the canyon and trails, Wellsboro and Galeton. Communication was easy while staying. Only thing was showers were on the smaller side. Recommended stay. Bet its nice with snow!

This is such a lovely house. It was a perfect layout for 2 retired couples. The views were spectacular - I think we hit peak leaf peeping! The house was very clean. No complaints on our end!! It happened to be homecoming weekend, so restaurants were packed. As we wandered downtown (which is just lovely!!) someone could apparently tell we were from out of town and sent us to their favorite restaurant, which was not so busy, since it was a bar. And we had the best meal! The next day we just kept checking restaurants and ended up at the Mexican - it was so delicious!! And the breakfast places are wonderful too!Wellsboro is a really nice little town (I live in a little town, so I know!). The people were extremely friendly. It was a perfect weekend getaway!!
The home was clean, amply supplied and the perfect setting for our golf trip. The property and surrounding views are stunning. We enjoyed sipping wine in the hot tub while looking up at the Milky Way and an endless blanket of stars. Tyoga golf course was both challenging and rewarding, with incredible views from the first tee and on. We had a great time in Wellsboro. We drank adult beverages with the locals at Mama's Mug and the Penn Wells Hotel. We had a delicious dinner at Beck's Bistro (a recommendation from friends) and were fortunate to be seated just in time to join (and win!) trivia. We need to stay longer next time. Thanks for having us.

This property is new and very well maintained and stocked. It’s very close to Wellsboro, Pa which offers many shopping, dining and activities. Close to Pa. Grand Canyon and the Rail Trail!
This house is great! It’s very clean and well cared for and managed.
For the last 16 years, five friends and I have gone on gal getaways for a long weekend each year. We like this house very much - there are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms; and the common areas are great. This is the second time we stayed at this house. We find this house very comfortable and the main floor shower gets an across the board, very enthusiastic 👍🏻. 😁
It’s location is very quiet and peaceful with beautiful views.
I've stayed here 2 years in a row. In 2025 I was initially put off by how "campy" the home is, but it grew on me and so I decided to go back in 2026. The best aspect of this home is the location - it's tucked away and is right on the creek. The setting is beautiful. You can hear the cars/trucks on Route 6, but it is still very peaceful.
MVR Vacation Rentals has been easy to deal with and communicate with, no complaints there.
The only negatives are 1) there is only 1 bathroom and 2) it's priced as if it's more luxurious than it is.
Overall, I was very pleased with the home and would consider staying there again.

We really enjoyed our stay—the house was just as described/pictured and more—beautifully kept in a peaceful, private and scenic setting—convenient for exploring the area and the hot tub was a bonus. We had clear instructions/communication from the host, which was helpful. We’d definitely consider staying here again!

Place looked identical to photos, very nice for a solo or couple vacation. Super secluded and decently private and an easy location for visiting the PA Grand Canyon or Cherry Springs and got some great star gazing done from the deck. Bed was comfy and everything in the house was in working order. Wasn't an issue for me, but just a word of warning, the basement doesn't get great air flow, there is only 1 real window and it's in the bedroom, the only AC unit is in the living area upstairs, the basement felt pretty stuffy and warm, the upstairs bedroom was a little as well as a result. But the house was great, had a great time, would recommend to others.

Very comfortable and clean place in a pretty location. Short pleasant drive to Wellsboro (~25 minutes) and many nice hikes in the area.
